The HTMLAreaElement.href property is a stringifier that returns a string containing the whole URL, and allows the href to be updated.

Value

A string.

Examples

const area = document.getElementById("myArea");
area.href; // returns 'https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/HTMLAreaElement'
