The type read-only property of the Summarizer interface returns the type of summary that will generated by the Summarizer.

Value

An enumerated value specifying the form the summary will be generated in; possible values are:

  • headline
    • : A single sentence article headline, capturing the main point of the input text.
  • key-points
    • : A bulleted list specifying the most important points presented in the input text.
  • teaser
    • : A “teaser” paragraph summarizing the most interesting or intriguing points of the input text, designed to draw the reader in to read more.
  • tldr
    • : A short, concise overview, designed as a summary for a busy reader.
